During our business coaching sessions, one of the items that we continuously reinforce is small steps accumulate to large accomplishments.
While training for a 5K (or marathon for the over achievers), running up a large hill is intimidating. Instead of focusing on the distance, focus on each individual step and the ground immediately in front of you. Small steps will amount to 6,250 steps, or 5 kilometers!
We define our strategic plan for the year, determine smaller goals and objectives to accomplish the plan, and define small steps to achieve those objectives. One step at a time which will amount to huge leaps and bounds.
